Dyscalculia

Study Stations offers remedial classes in Arabic, English, French and Maths and as part of the ongoing training for tutors, the first training session of the summer was given on ' Dyscalculia ' (Math disability) . After identifying problems faced by the children, the trainer gave the tutors some 'hand's on' activities that they could use w ith the children, making it a very practical and useful session for the whole team.

Summer activities at Study Station

As part of Study Station's summer activities to include parents in sharing in their children's education, computer workshops will be held for parents and children to attend together.To prepare for this, a session on, 'Staying safe on the internet' was held for the children, which they will later share with their parents. The computer course is the first step in joint activities between parents and children, to build the whole families capacities and strengthen interest in the value of education.
